Writing is Marilyn’s first love when it comes to the creative arts – with the pleasure of getting her fingers mixed up in words and meanings deeply connected to testing out sounds, rhythm, pacing and imagery.
Photography is the medium in which Marilyn loves to get lost…in both time and space. Looking. Watching. Waiting. Anticipating. Even meditating.
‘Ears wide open’ is Marilyn’s way of moving through the world, often stalking sounds to investigate the ‘who is doing what, how and why?’ of a potential story.
